Cheryl Geniesse, M.A., BCBA

Clinical Director

“Nothing excites me more than clients achieving their goals and becoming more independent. Their success is what keeps me motivated each and every day.”

Cheryl Geniesse is the regional clinical director for Total Spectrum’s Michigan region. She has worked in applied behavior analysis (ABA) for more than a decade, holding leadership roles in clinical management and behavioral intervention. Before that, she worked in special education and therapeutic recreation in the greater Chicago area.

She began her ABA career as a behavior technician with LEARN Behavioral’s Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST) in Los Angeles and later held roles in New Mexico and Michigan as she advanced to supervising interventionist and behavior analyst. While working with the LEARN Behavioral network across four states, she earned a master’s degree from the University of West Florida.

Cheryl is passionate about expanding global access to ABA. As a SkillCorps volunteer with the Global Autism Project, she traveled to Kenya, China, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia to help expand access to high-quality autism services worldwide.
