At Total Spectrum, we understand that autism can be hard to identify and can show up in many different ways. Our expert team includes developmental psychologists and neuropsychologists who can get you the answers you need.
We’re licensed to perform diagnostic testing for autism and other developmental delays in the state of Illinois via telehealth. We work with pediatricians, medical specialists, physical and occupational therapists, and schools throughout greater Chicago and Central Illinois.
Our staff are multilingual and can conduct evaluations in English or Spanish and assist with evaluations in Russian and Polish.
Evaluations
Psychological and Neuropsychological Evaluations
How do you evaluate kids for autism and co-occurring disorders?
Our psychological and neuropsychological evaluations consist of a virtual clinical interview and direct interaction with and observation of your child. We used standardized diagnostic tools to measure a variety of skills and capacities, such as communication and cognitive skills.
Ages

What ages do you treat?
We provide diagnostic testing for toddlers as young as 18 months through six years old.
Referrals
Do I need a referral?
Depending on your insurance and which diagnostician evaluates your child, you may or may not need a referral. Our intake team can help you with all the required paperwork to schedule your child’s assessment. We can set up an appointment within a matter of weeks if you have concerns about your child’s development or behavior.
